April Lilacs is a LiveGood limited edition candle that was created in April 2021. It was created in memory of Alycia's late mother "April" who passed away in 2013 at the young age of 36 years old after suffering for years with Chronic Kidney Disease. 

Since losing her mother, Alycia has always dreamed of a way to honor her memory and make a difference in her name. When Alycia founded LiveGood Candles and realized she could create a candle using April's favorite flower as a scent and donate the proceeds to The National Kidney Foundation, she jumped in and never looked back!

Every year Alycia changes the look of April Lilacs, making it a true limited edition candle. The goal Alycia has with April Lilacs ever changing look is to create excitement year after year for its return every spring. Every year loyal Lilac lovers and people who have been affected by Kidney Disease in their own lives flock to our website and get that years candle, always selling out of stock in less than 24 hours.

Since the creation of April Lilacs in 2021 we have been able to donate over $800 to the Hawaii Kidney Foundation and The National Kidney Foundation. 

In 2021 we were able to donate $100 to the Hawaii Kidney Foundation.

In 2022 we were able to donate $240 to the Hawaii Kidney Foundation.

In 2023 we were able to donate $500 to the National Kidney Foundation.

Our goal as a business with April Lilacs is to continue making a yearly donation to The National Kidney Foundation in the hopes that we can bring awareness and make a difference in the lives of those who are still struggling with Chronic Kidney Disease.
